Let's get it, let's go.

Hello and welcome back to another bonus episode. Now I'm going to start off the show doing something I have never done before. So stay with me. I am going to be sharing the key takeaway from this entire episode, but even though you get the key takeaway now, I need you to tune in for the next five minutes because this mindset shift will simply transform so much of your life. And I promise it will give you so much joy and it will allow you to experience the fullness of confidence. So the key takeaway of this entire episode is that having cellulite is normal and not something to be embarrassed about. Now, I don't know about you, but I have struggled with cellulite for years and years. I was thought that something was wrong with me. I thought that I wasn't healthy enough. I thought that I needed to lose weight. I thought I wasn't in good enough shape. I'm here to tell you if you have cellulite, that is not a sign that you are unhealthy. That is not a sign that you need to lose weight. That is not a sign that you are not in. Good enough shape. That simply means that you are human. Welcome to the club, 99.9% of us have it. And it's so important that you remember this truth.

Before I dive in, I have to share the super sweet review. It comes from [Darth09 00:02:09]. She says, "I've only been listening to this podcast for short time, but wow, this morning on my way to work, I listened to breaking your not enough mentality, and it hit me so hard because yesterday I was having so many self doubt thoughts and feelings, and God knew I needed to hear this podcast this morning. I'm going to start incorporating an attitude of gratitude in my life more. I'm a thankful person, but I think we often take things for granted so easily. Thank you Julie, for doing this podcast, sharing your insight and encouragement with us all we need you and God bless."

Thank you so much for the review. I love you guys. You guys are my people. If you haven't already rated and reviewed the podcast and you have the opportunity to go to Apple Podcasts, it really does help us out in the podcast land. All you got to do is press pause, scroll all the way down, it takes less than 60 seconds and it helps so much. So thank you in advance for doing that.

All right, so back to the episode, let's talk about some cellulite. Now I don't know about you but years when I would see the dimples on my skin, when I sat down or wore shorts, it stole so much of my joy. I would go from 100 to zero in less than two seconds. I would go from feeling on top of the world, confident, strong, powerful to instantly feeling defeated and fat and frustrated and embarrassed. It stole so much of my money too, because I literally fell for every lotion, every cream. And I thought that there was something wrong with me because no matter how much money I spent on all these things, creams, program, detoxes, I still couldn't get rid of the cellulite dimples. But most importantly, this stole so much of my precious time for far too long, because I thought that if I just spent more time restricting myself, more time on the elliptical, that one day my cellulite would disappear.

Literally my cellulite held me back from a decade of my life from wearing shorts. I refused to go in public in shorts. Seriously, ask my family, asked my friends, I did not wear shorts. Even on the hottest days, I hid my legs in shame. I don't know if you can relate. If you're shaking your head, please listen up. It is time that you start celebrating your cellulite. Yes, you heard me, celebrate the heck out of those dimples. It is normal. You are normal. Nothing is wrong with you. Nothing about them should be hidden in shame. Your body is a miracle and your time on Earth right now, you listening to this, to the sound of my voice, that means that you are alive and breathing and that is precious. Quit, wasting time dwelling on everything that your body is not, and start celebrating everything that your body is. Varying studies say 93 to 98% of all women have cellulite. So if the majority of all of us have cellulite, why do we all feel the need to hide it?

As long as we all continue to feel ashamed of our cellulite, the more we will strengthen our belief that it is something to be ashamed of, but the more that we all embrace it and wear the dang shorts, the more normalized it will become. Girl, I'm telling you, show off that cellulite so that you make the woman next to you feel safe to do the same. It will, it will create a ripple effect and the more and more women who feel safe to embrace their cellulite will do so. Having cellulite is normal and it's time that we start actually normalizing it. You don't need to buy all the creams to try to get rid of it. You don't need to obsess over cardio trying to get rid of it. What you need to do is own it, embrace it, and celebrate it. You are a woman and woman have cellulite and that's it. Nothing more. You are still beautiful. You are still worthy and you are still you.

If you loved this episode, I know you will also love episode 30, stop hiding behind your clothes. I really dive deep into this episode as well and I know that you will feel encouraged and empowered by it. If you have two girlfriends in your life right now, I want to encourage you to stop what you're doing and share this message with them. It could be on an Instagram where you post it up on your Instagram story and you tag some girls to listen to it. It could be that you copy this link and text it to your friends. It could just be that you post it up on your story for all the people, your circle of influence that follow you in hopes that they listen to it. But I'm telling you the more that we embrace it, the more that we celebrate it, the more we allow other women to feel safe with their cellulite as well. We have to stop condemning our cellulite and we have to start celebrating it. I love you so much. Thank you so much for tuning in, and I will talk to you guys in the next episode.

All right, sister. That's all I got for you today, but I have two things that I need you to do.
