[00:00:31] Hello and welcome back to another bonus episode three life changing mindset shifts that anyone can make. Sometimes it's really only our mindset that is holding us back from building the body that we want. Like we can take all the supplements, we can prioritize our protein, carbs and fats. Counting, counting our macros. We can do all the workouts, but if we don't change our mindset, our body and life will truly never change because it's all interconnected, right? The way that we perceive challenges and setbacks and opportunities, this can either propel us forward or it can hold us back from reaching our fullest potential. And so that's why in today's episode, I want to outline three key mindset shifts that really anyone can unlock that I truly believe will have a profound impact on your life. Mindset shift number one. If it is important enough, you will find a way. If you don't find a way, it just wasn't important enough. When we truly value something, whether it's a goal, building the body that you want, a dream, a relationship we are willing to overcome any obstacle in our path to achieve it. If we really want it, then we need to trust that we will find a way to make it happen. But if you are struggling to do something and feel like you don't have the time, this really helps you to realize, at least in that moment of you saying, I don't have the time, that it's actually not that important to you. [00:01:49][77.8]
[00:01:49] And this mindset shift really challenges us to examine our priorities and question whether what we are truly dedicating our time and energy to is things that matter most to us, right? If we feel like we don't have the time, then it's actually likely not a priority. And if it's not a priority, then you will never find the time. But if it is actually a priority, you will likely do whatever you can to find the time throughout the day. And this really helps us to realize that if a goal is actually important to us, we can't beat ourselves up for not reaching it if we aren't putting in the time and effort to get there right. I think oftentimes we have these goals and then we don't reach them, and then we're beating ourselves up. But take a step back from that and recognize and say, is this actually really important? Like, I know I had this goal and now I'm beating myself up because I didn't have this goal and I didn't achieve this goal. But ask yourself, is it actually super important to me? And if it is, then you'll find a way to get it done. And I always tell people like, you know, you might have a goal to achieve it in X, Y, and z time, but oftentimes that is not the time frame that you're going to achieve it. And and there's for a plethora of reasons, maybe you weren't prioritizing it. Maybe it wasn't as important in that season of life. And now it is a lot more important. Maybe it just wasn't the right timing in your life, but it's so, so important to adopt this mindset so that you can start really identifying your core values in your core goals, like what's truly important to you, what goal are you wanting to reach? And once you've clarified those priorities, commit to taking consistent action towards them, even in the obstacles. [00:03:19][90.2]
[00:03:20] And when the obstacles arise, you know, and you don't have quote unquote time, remember that true commitment means that you're going to find solutions. You're not going to find excuses when obstacles arise. And so by adopting this find a way mentality, you really empower yourself to overcome any barriers and achieve the most cherished aspirations that you have in this season of life. Mindset shift number two you can't change without challenge. If you avoid challenges, you avoid evolving into the person you're capable of becoming. You have to remember that change is inevitable. It's an inevitable part of your life. Many, yet many of us, I think, fear and resist it because we're fearful of the discomfort. However, true growth and true transformation requires us to really embrace challenges and step outside of our comfort zone. Right? This mindset shift encourages us to view challenges not as obstacles to be avoided, but as opportunities for growth. Because again, you literally cannot grow without a challenge. So be thankful for the challenge because it means that you are being forced to grow and you cannot reach any goal if you do not grow. So how do you cultivate this mindset shift? Well, you really have to start by reframing your perception of challenges instead of viewing them as threats. I want you to view them and see them as invitations to learn, to grow and to evolve and really embrace discomfort as a sign of progress, and recognize that every challenge that you are facing, this has the potential to chat, to strengthen you, to expand your capabilities, to expand your experiences. And by embracing these challenges with courage and resilience, you position yourself to become the best version of yourself and unlock new levels of personal growth and success. [00:05:07][106.6]
[00:05:07] And last but not least, Mindset Shift number three. Small steps are better than no steps. Just because it's hard doesn't mean you're not capable. So so so often I see women hesitant in pursuing their goals because the goals seem so daunting. They seem so overwhelming. However, this mindset shift really reminds us that progress is achieved through consistent effort and perseverance, regardless of how small or challenging the steps might be. Right change and growth and success. Those are all hard things. If it were easy, everybody would be doing it. But it's not easy. It's a challenge. So don't allow yourself to believe that just because it's challenging, you're not capable, right? And these two things are not connected. Just because something is hard doesn't mean that you can't do it. And so really to internalize this mindset shift, start by breaking your goals down, breaking them down into small, more manageable tasks that don't feel so daunting and so overwhelming, and really focus on taking one step at a time, rather than being overwhelmed by the enormity of the end goal. Along the way, ensure that you celebrate each of these small victories and remind yourself that progress, no matter how small, is still progress. You're small progress that's going to compound into huge results over time. Plus, when you're faced with these challenges, when you're faced with these setbacks, I need you to remind yourself that difficulty does not equate to incapability. I repeat that again. Difficulty does not equate to incapability. Believe in your ability to overcome obstacles and trust in your strength, and trust in your determination to overcome these difficulties by really embracing these three life changing shifts that I talked about in today's episode, I truly believe that you have the power to unlock profound transformation in your life. [00:06:58][110.1]
[00:06:58] So I want you to go back. I want you to listen to these again. I want you to write them down in your journal, and I want you to focus on them because by you focusing on each one. And this could be, you know, mindset shift number one, I'm going to focus on this for the beginning of May. Right. All of May I'm going to focus on this mindset. Step number two I'm going to focus on this in June. Mindset shift number three I'm going to focus on this in July and really try to allow yourself to immerse yourself into these things. And I want to quickly recap them so that you can either write them down in your journal right now, or if you want to go back and kind of write down the mindset shift and some bullet points attached to it. So that way you have something to go off of for the remainder of the month. But again, I think that these are so profound, and I think they genuinely have the ability to transform your life. And that is what I am after. I am always after trying to encourage, trying to empower, trying to educate you in some way, shape or form so that you can unlock the power in your own life, whether that's building the body that you want, whether that's embracing your real rather, that's it, you know, overcoming these challenges and setbacks in your life. But let me quickly recap these three things I talked about. Number one, if it's important enough, you will find a way. If you don't find a way, it was an important enough. Number two, you can't change without challenge. If you avoid challenges, you avoid evolving into the person you are capable of becoming. [00:08:16][78.6]
[00:08:17] And last but not least, number three small steps are better than no steps. Just because it's hard doesn't mean you're not capable.
