Ingredients
1 pound 99% fat-free ground turkey
100 grams shredded zucchini (about 1 small zucchini)
1/4 cup panic bread crumbs
1 handful chopped fresh cilantro
Zest of 1 lime
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 small avocado (150 grams) chopped into small chunks
Juice of 1/2 lime*
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a bowl, except avocados and lime juice. Mix using your hands or a spoon until well incorporated.
In another bowl, add your chopped avocado and lime juice, and toss to coat.
Add avocado mixture to your meat mixture, and combine until the avocado is well incorporated.
Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium.
Form 5 burgers using your hands. For ultimate accuracy, weight the entire mixture in grams with your food scale, then divide by 5 to see how many grams each burger should be. Otherwise, you eyeball it.
Spray your grill with cooking spray, and grill each burger for about 5 minutes per side. The burgers should not take longer than 15 minutes.
Let cool for a few minutes, then enjoy!
* The lime juice prevents the avocado from browning, so they keep extremely well in the fridge!
